making all your dreams come true

Greedy Hen have some work in a big group Art exhibition in Melbourne, friday 7th November. Other Artists who are part of the same show (who we have monstrous hearts for) include: We Buy Your Kids, James Gulliver Hancock, and Beci Orpin.

So if you're up for those antics you should definitely come along and make all your dreams come true.

It's at: Robio Gallery 73 Gertrude St Fitzroy

and now here's the part where you can bust out the air punches and high fives- The exhibition is also a launch of a limited edition Australian series of Poketo wallets, covered in artwork by the Artists featured in the show. yes way!

a golden grill.

Those two pieces of shimmering light out on the horizon, that look like a dazzling buck toothed man with golden grill, are actually two sparkling Greedy Hen Art shows.

The first is one of Kate Mitchell's super rad endurance Art performance films,

called 'Non Stop Nice'

here she explains:

it's a simple physical challenge,

"How long can I grin for?"

The answer: 27minutes and 21seconds. With the work sped up to 3minutes and 13 seconds the smile takes on an evil tone, turns into an ill hidden grimace, facial muscles tense, the eyes dart around frantically trying to find relief, until it all becomes to much to bear and the smile/work is over.

then we went on to discuss Michael Douglas, 'Jewl Of The Nile', and the comic value of white chino slacks. but instead of writing in everything she said about the Art work, we'll just post a choice picture of MD looking creepy

Greedy Hen painted a skateboard deck which is now on show at The New Zealand Centre Of Contemporary Art, as part of the Board Art 2008 exhibition. The Art show will be touring New Zealand, dates are still being confirmed, but the New Dowse Gallery will apparently be housing it in February 2009. other top notch awesome Artists in the show include We Buy Your Kids and NZ wonder kid Dylan Taylor.

to illustrate what winning looks like, here's a decorative shrub, small white ghost, or an array of shiny drinking goblet trophies.
